Hijack Capital is an independent equity investor in feature films and long-form television. We back independent production companies with projects that combine creative ambition and commercial potential, working as a partner from the earliest conversations through to delivery and beyond.

Helping
producers close.
Film financing has become harder for independent producers. Finance plans stall, shoots get pushed, and good projects slip because the money doesn't come together in time. Hijack Capital exists to help producers close. We invest early, from development through to the start of post, so producers we back have a partner from the start.
We bring financial, administrative and creative experience alongside the investment. We invest in films we want to see made, and we back the producers making them. For us, this is about more than financial returns.
How we engage
Talk to us

We're happy to come in early and help shape a finance plan, or later, once a project is packaged and looking for the piece that closes it. Each project is considered on its own merits.
Hijack Capital is based in London. We take meetings in person at our HQ, at the major European markets (Cannes Marché du Film, Venice Production Bridge, Berlinale EFM), and by video for producers further afield.

- Dust (Dir. Anke Blondé, 2026). Main Competition at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival. A four-country European co-production led by A Private View.
- Black Noise (Dir. Simon Blake, 2026). UK thriller starring Aidan Gillen, Kate Phillips and Tom Mothersdale. Completed and out to sales and distribution.

Hijack Post is the London post-production house founded by Alex Seery and Rich Simpson in 2014. Grade, online, audio, DIT and delivery, full finish for feature films, television and moving-image art.
Hijack Capital was founded by Rich Simpson, Alex Seery and Nic Turton. Hijack Capital and Hijack Post share a founding team but are separate companies, independently run.
